I tried the above procedures for few tim. By default, Web browsers on Mac OS X Yosemite save downloads to the Downloads folder in Finder. Or at least as integrated as it was up until April 9, before whatever it is that broke, broke. However, when i press the dropbox icon after installation, it doesn't work at all and nothing happened. It is a temporary work-around, and I fully expect Dropbox to fix it so that importing images is as integrated for Mac users as it is for any other users. Then I tried to uninstall and then install the dropbox again.
